No World's new frontwoman is the trans hero the world needs right now!

Comic books have been getting more and more diverse in recent years, and the newest offering from former Marvel writer Scott Lobdell is definitely proof of that.

In a tweet teasing his upcoming comic series, entitled No World, Lobdell revealed that one of his main characters would be a black trans woman. From the looks of the cover, the former NFL star is a complete and total badass.

While there still aren't many details about this character available yet (we don't even know her name), the prospect of a trans woman of color being a main character in a comic book series is still an exciting one.

More gender and racial diversity is always a welcome thing, especially considering how plenty of comic book universes have always been historically white and scarce when it comes to non-cishet characters.

No World is expected to hit comic book store shelves in April, and is published through Aspen Comics.
