Make superheroes gay again?

Last night's episode of The Flash featured a historic kiss between two openly gay superheroes!

CW's DC television shows, The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow's crossover series "Crisis on Earth-X" finds our heroes in a dystopian alternate universe where Nazis won World War II. Our favorite heroes (and a few of their alternate versions) gather to celebrate the wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West, but an all-out war tears them away.

Russell Tovey made his premiere on last night's episode of The Flash as The Ray. Ray Terrell is an openly gay superhero, and in one scene, he's spotted wearing a concentration camp uniform with a pink triangle.

In this universe, Wentworth Miller's Citizen Gold is Captain Gold, and is in a relationship with The Ray. The two share a kiss and it is a monumental moment, not only because we get to watch two gay superheroes be affectionate on primetime television, but both actors are also openly gay.

Looks like the ball is in your court, Marvel! Is it too much to ask for an alternative universe where Ezra Miller and Henry Cavill are dating?
