10 Ways to Embrace Being a Single Gay/Bi man

Being single can be awful. I know this. I’m not going to pretend that I haven’t wished I was dating some perfect guy while I was single. I won't pretend I loved having nobody to cuddle with. Dating definitely has its perks, and it’s an incredible feeling to love and be loved. That said, I am SO done with hearing my single friends complain about being alone.

A friend of mine posted a status on Facebook today saying “Like if you’re single and are looking to date.” It had over 400 likes! Seriously, guys? Are we that desperate? While everyone struggles with being single, it seems like gay/bi men struggle with it more than any other gender or sexual orientation out there. We need to embrace being single. I’ll say it again. WE NEED TO EMBRACE THE SINGLE LIFE. I know it’s tough, but here are 10 things you can do to help you fully embrace being a single queer man.
