'White Lotus' fans are suspicious (& thirsty)!

After watching the third episode of The White Lotus season two, viewers are feeling pretty convinced that there’s some sexual tension between college buddies Cameron (Theo James) and Ethan (Will Sharpe).
During the season two premiere of The White Lotus, it was established that college friends Cameron and Ethan went on a group trip to Italy with their respective wives, Daphne (Meghann Fahy) and Harper (Aubrey Plaza). Even though Harper was instantly suspicious of Cameron and Daphne’s behaviors as a couple, Ethan regularly defended his friend and asked Harper to be nicer to them. At first, viewers were understandably very distracted by Cameron going full nude while changing in the same room as Harper… but now that we’re three episodes in, it appears that another dynamic between these characters is becoming more obvious.
“You’re a handsome guy, I’d do ya,” Cameron told Ethan in what seemed to be a throwaway comment in the premiere episode. In subsequent episodes, Ethan kept turning Harper down for sex and seeking Cameron’s approval at every turn. Things escalated even further in episode three, as Daphne and Harper spent the night away from the White Lotus resort and Cameron and Ethan got to hang out with two local sex workers.
For one, it was curious to watch Cameron’s innocent (or not-so-innocent?) kisses on Ethan’s face throughout episode three. When the two of them got to the hotel room with the two Italian girls, Cameron went straight into action, but Ethan did not. Instead, Ethan literally spent the night spying on Cameron having sex in the next room.
As expected, Gay Twitter is now going all-in on the theories and speculation regarding Cameron and Ethan’s so-called “bromance” on The White Lotus.
