But will they find a way to bring Jennifer Coolidge back?

The White Lotus has reportedly selected its season three locale and, no surprise, it’s a gorgeous one.

After filming season one in Hawaii and season two in Italy, Variety reports that multiple sources have confirmed the third series has found its new location, this time in Thailand. Both of the previous seasons were shot on location at the Four Seasons hotel, and reportedly the same is true of season three, which is set to go into production at one of the Four Season hotels in Thailand. The question is which one, as the luxury hotel giant has locations in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, and the Golden Triangle, offering very different experiences across the country — from the city to the beach, or even the jungle.

While HBO has yet to make any comment, this news is in keeping with hints that creator Mike White has made in the past about his plans for season three of the hit series. During an “Unpacking S2 E7” clip, White dropped some hints saying he may move the locale to Asia and focus the season around “death and Eastern religion and spirituality.”

“The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex,” said White. “I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”

As for if Jennifer Coolidge would somehow find a way into the third season (reincarnation?), White has teased that maybe, just maybe, we could see her again.

“Jennifer is my friend and everybody loved her in the first season, and I was like, ‘I can’t go to Italy without Jennifer.’ And maybe that’s still the case. Like, maybe you can’t go to Japan without Jennifer, either,” he told Deadline, on the red carpet for season two. “There are so many fun actors we’ve worked with so far, so it’s just kind of like who’s available.”

OK, so admittedly that’s a stretch, but hey, we can hope.
