The new season of The White Lotus has brought its own round of quotable dialogue, shocking revelations, and memorable characters, but perhaps none as memorable as Parker Posey’s Victoria Ratliff (which is saying a lot). And a new video from The Hollywood Reporter has the rest of the cast hilariously paying homage to just that.
Any fan of Posey’s knows how quickly she can make a character leap off the page and become something immortal and iconic. When stepping into Victoria’s shoes, she’s given us the kind of character The White Lotushas become known for — rich, out of touch, and perpetually moments away from saying something vaguely (or outright) offensive. And she does it with a style that’s both delicious and horrifying to watch.
THRrecently got the season three cast members together to celebrate just that, compiling a video of them giving their best impressions of Posey’s role.
Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Nivola, Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, Jon Gries, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Sarah Catherine Hook all took part, giving it their all in mimicking some of the most notable phrases or words Victoria has uttered so far this season.
All of this came together to form the same conclusion as fans — Parker Posey is a legend, and so are the characters she plays.
"I have been in love with Parker Posey ever since I saw her play Fiona in the Josie and the Pussycats movie."
Amusingly, of the cast members that appeared, only Michelle Monaghan declined on camera, noting, "I don’t know if I can muster it. I think only Parker can do Parker."
