She’s large and in charge!
Best known for competing on season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race, All Stars 1, and All Stars 4, Latrice Royale has now officially been cast as the fourth cohost of We’re Here season four.
As previously announced, this upcoming season of We’re Here will feature an all-new cast consisting of Sasha Velour, Jaida Essence Hall, and Priyanka. Now, Royale has been added to the fold as the fourth cohost of the series.
These four Drag Race superstars are replacing Shangela, Bob the Drag Queen, and Eureka, who cohosted the first three seasons of HBO’s We’re Here.
Despite these casting changes, it appears that the general format of We’re Here will be maintained from the series’ first three seasons.
“In this increasingly hostile political climate, we are grateful to HBO for their dedication to telling LGBTQ+ stories that meet the moment and document our history,” We’re Here co-creators Stephen Warren and Johnnie Ingram told Variety. “We are thrilled to expand our drag family and give much-needed love to the people on the front lines of hate.”
Besides competing on Drag Race, Royale has starred in projects like AJ and the Queen, Cherry Pop, The B*tch Who Stole Christmas, and Drag Tots, to name a few. She has also appeared as herself on shows like Drag Me to Dinner and RuPaul’s Drag U.
Latrice Royale is a perfect choice for We’re Here, so we couldn’t be more thrilled!
We’re Here is available for streaming on Max.
