Some people were not happy with the raunchy scene.

Tom Holland has gotten the internet all riled up after a sex scene he did with another man aired on Apple TV+ recently.

In The Crowded Room, Holland plays Danny Sullivan, a man arrested for attempted murder who reveals snippets of his past to an investigator (Amanda Seyfried) over the course of the show. In a recent episode, that included him spending time at a club and ultimately performing a sex act on a man he met there.

The way some people reacted to Holland doing a queer sex scene, you’d think society had been punted back to the ‘50s, where any sex on TV was taboo and gay sex was the end of the whole world.

Some invoked Zendaya, as if she doesn’t know that she’s dating a fellow actor, while others complained on account of Holland playing Spider-Man—though they clearly have a thing or two to learn about the other actors who have played Spider-Man.

No matter the reasoning, it’s pretty exhausting to watch fragile people freak out over something that impacts them in no way whatsoever.

Anyone who genuinely believes this is controversial and should be controversial is welcome to simply not watch The Crowded Room, although it probably also means they aren’t mature enough to watch much else made for adults, either.
