The trailer for the back half of Titans season four has finally dropped, giving fans a look into the final episodes of the superhero show.
“It’s a matter of life and death for the entire world,” Gar (Ryan Potter) warns, and the tease of what’s to come for the Titans backs him up.
Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) and Kory (Anna Diop) are trapped in another dimension where they’re married and seemingly living a normal, happy life in suburbia, but things are growing darker elsewhere. Connor aka Superboy (Joshua Orpin) is denying his association with the Titans and palling around with Sebastian Blood (Joseph Morgan), who looks to be ramping up his villainous ways.
The trailer also warns of a connection between Blood and Raven (Teagan Croft) that could have disastrous consequences for both of them, and a threat against Bernard’s (James Scully) life so soon after they’ve admitted their feelings for one another has Tim Drake (Jay Lycurgo) struggling.
It was announced in January that Titans would be coming to an end with season four, the latest in a mass wave of DC-related cancelations that started with the CW’s remaining Arrowverse shows and eventually swept HBO Max’s Titans and Doom Patrol up as well. Still, the series is anticipated to have a proper conclusion by the time these final six episodes grace our screens.
In brighter news, the trailer also marks the debut of Drake’s new Robin suit, which has already earned praise from fans online.
It’s bittersweet, knowing we are nearing the end, but hopefully Titans will go out on a note that leaves fans who have stuck with it for four years satisfied.
