“Did you learn my name?” the drag superstar asked.

Shangela proved once again that she is both the queen of the ballroom and of throwing fun shade, when she called out Dancing With the Stars host Alfonso Ribero for repeatedly getting her name wrong.

Shangela once again showed off her moves on Disney+ Night with a Charleston set to “Dig a Little Deeper” from The Princess and the Frog, which just so happened to be sung live by Shangela’s friend (and Snatch Game character) Jenifer Lewis.

Afterward, Ribero thought he would tease the drag queen about not being familiar with “sickle foot” (which is a dancer’s foot position where their foot curves inward and the heel drops back) and he came for the wrong one.

Rather than answering Ribero’s question, Shangela had one of her own. “The real question: Did you learn my name?” she asked the host who was caught off guard.

“Well... Hello. Hello. Listen, I mean yes. Okay. You got me before I got to you,” he said, looking visibly nervous.

“I’m sorry. Angela is here for you baby,” said Shangela.

“Listen, I wanted to say, the last couple of weeks, I did actually say your name a couple of times wrong. I did say ‘Angela,’ which is my wife’s name, so it was a term of endearment. You know what I’m saying?” Ribero explained.

“You know I love you, baby,” said Shangela, with one last zinger. “And you are my Alfondo,” she joked. Classic Shangela.

This exchange followed Shangela posting a hilarious clip from the show on her IG showing her side-eye reaction to Ribero mispronouncing her name in the previous episode.

The night proved to be a good one for the drag star on another front as well, as she received eights across the board for her performance, giving her a 32, her highest score yet.
