After a thirteen-year hiatus, STARZ has revived the beloved comedy series Party Down and added a few icons to the already stacked cast.
Starring Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott, the wacky show follows a group of actors that "move to Los Angeles to make it big, but end up working as caterers." The show previously concluded in 2010 after two seasons and 20 episodes. It was not renewed due to low ratings but gained almost a cult-like fanbase since.
"The gang is back and down to party," a brand-new trailer teases, showing the beloved characters all these years later. And yes, they're still catering... Looks like acting didn't exactly work out for any of them.
Scott is all set to reprise his role as Henry alongside original cast members Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, and Megan Mullally. A press release has revealed that the one and only Jennifer Garner is also joining season 3 alongside Tyrel Jackson Williams, and Zoë Chao. James Marsden is set to recur as a guest star. Rob Thomas, John Enbom, Paul Rudd, Dan Etheridge, and Adam Scott are producing.
Season 3 will be six episodes long, though it's not yet clear if they will premiere all at once or weekly. Guess we'll just twiddle our thumbs until the premiere...
Party Down's third season premieres Friday, February 24 at midnight on the STARZ app. Watch the teaser below:
