Lestat, who?

Season two of Interview With the Vampire has finally been confirmed for 2024. Moreover, a new clip shared by AMC shows the main storyline that will be followed in the upcoming season.

In the newly-released video from season two, Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) and Armand (Assad Zaman) are shown having a conversation right outside of a party. We also see Claudia (now played by Delainey Hayles) passing by them, and she’s certainly dressing up a little more like an adult now.

As teased at the grand finale of Interview With the Vampire season one, this second season will chronicle how Louis and Armand fell in love and developed a connection between them after Louis and Claudia “murdered” Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid). Fans familiar with this story know that there’s more to come, but this is the point where things are being picked up in season two.

During their conversation shown in the clip, Louis and Armand talk about how far Claudia’s powers have gone, highlighting that she’s gotten very good at blocking other vampires from reading her mind. Armand then points out that Louis still has to learn to do that.

It’s clear that there’s some flirting going on between Louis and Armand. And when Armand brings up Lestat’s name, all Louis can bring himself to say is, “Lestat, who?”

Armand first disguises as a servant and caretaker called Rashid throughout season one. At the finale, he reveals himself to be Armand, Louis’ current romantic partner. One can assume that this will be a main storyline for season two, as well as other events that would get us into some spoiler-y territory.

We couldn’t be more excited about Interview With the Vampire finally coming back for a second season!

Interview With the Vampire season two is scheduled to premiere in 2024 on AMC.
