After announcing that Kim Cattrall was joining the cast nearly a year ago, we’re finally getting a first look at Netflix's new queer drama Glamorous.

The 10-part series which will start streaming in June, follows a gender nonconforming queer person named Marco Mejia — played by singer, YouTuber, and actor Miss Benny — as he navigates a new job at a cosmetics company.

The former Sex and the City star plays retired supermodel and CEO Madolyn Addison, who “built one of the top cosmetic companies in the world from the ground up,” according to the official synopsis.

She hires Marco to be her summer intern because she’s sure someone in her company is sabotaging it from the inside.

“She has a plan – she wants him to be her eyes and ears, to make friends – and find out what’s going on behind her back, to discover what they’re hiding and what they’re stealing,” the synopsis reads.

Marco is brand new to the industry and landed the gig at the high-stakes cosmetics company after creating makeup vlogs critiquing the products they make. Now Madolyn is offering to show him the ropes, but warns, “This business isn’t all glitter and glamour and neither is life.”

Drag Race faves Monét X Change and Priyanka are also starring in the LGBTQ+ drama that was originally ordered as a pilot for the CW before being picked up by Netflix. And lucky for fans — they’re playing themselves!

The cast also includes Fire Islands’ Zane Phillips, Dynastys Jade Payton, Pretty Smart’s Michael Hsu, Daisy Jones and the Six’s Ayesha Harris, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Graham Parkhurst.

After the often dubious queer representation on Sex and The City, it’s great to see Cattrall starring on shows like the remake of Queer as Folkand now Glamorous!
