Netflix’s Glamorous is living up to its name as Drag Race faves Monét X Change and Priyanka join the cast!

Both queens will be playing themselves in the upcoming show, which is set at a high stakes cosmetics company in New York City, and also explores the world of Brooklyn nightlife.

Priyanka took to social media to celebrate the announcement on Monday, noting that it’s also an opportunity for her to reunite with Lisa Gilroy, who will play influencer Alyssasay, and with whom she previously co-hosted the Canadian kids’ show The Zone.

Miss Benny is taking the lead on Glamorous as Marco Mejia, a teen who gets the opportunity of a lifetime when his makeup vlogs land him a gig working for the very company whose products he had been critiquing, run by fictional cosmetics icon Madolyn Addison (Kim Cattrall).

The show, created by Jordon Nardino, was originally ordered as a pilot at the CW, in contention for the 2019-2020 season, but ultimately wound up being snatched up by Netflix instead.

Damien Terriquez and Kaleb Horn were also recently announced as joining the cast for the 10 episode first season, and some other familiar faces are also expected to pop up throughout, including Joel Kim Booster, Matt Rogers, Aldrin Bundoc, and Brock Ciarlelli.

A release date has yet to be set, but is expected to take place sometime in 2023.
