This summer the network famous for home improvement shows is bringing you a little eye candy!
On July 10 a new home design show will premiere on the HGTV, but this one is a little different than the network’s usual fair because it will follow the stars of the all-male revue stage show Australia's Thunder from Down Under.
Flip the Strip — we love a cheeky name! — will star sexy Las Vegas-based dancers Ben Cleary, Dan Paterson, Liam Black and Malik Wills-Martin, who are "headliners by night and expert tradesman by day."
The show will consist of six hour-long episodes where the men will team up with interior designer Kelly Stone to transform their clients home from boring and bland to "glitzy desert oases."
All four dancers-turned-renovators have construction experience and each one will tackle a different role on the projects they undertake for the show. Patterson will serve as the project manager, Black is the painter, Cleary is a carpenter, and Wills-Martin is the demo and ‘do-it-all’ expert, according to the trailer for the show.
“Between Ben, Malik, Liam and I, we have a ton of experience in the construction industry from our time before joining the cast of Australia’s Thunder from Down Under,” Patterson told People. “We are here in the United States to perform, but we also want to try our hand at building a business and delivering the best possible renovations to our clients.”
The trailer for the upcoming reality show features shirtless shots of the hotties as they renovate a client’s home with one woman saying, "I am so excited to work with Kelly, but I think I'm even more excited to be watching the guys work" — we couldn’t agree more!
Flip the Strip premiers on July 10, and will air every Monday night at 10 p.m. ET on HGTV.
We’re excited to spend the summer watching shirtless men wielding power tools and flexing their muscles, but while we wait for the show to start let’s meet the guys!
