We're seated for this.
Taking place at the end of the 20th century, Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey are the two leading men in Showtime's new thrilling limited series Fellow Travelers.
Audiences will watch these men as they fall in love and try and keep their relationship from the public eye. New episodes will chronicle their struggles beginning with Vietnam War protests of the 1960s to the the AIDS crisis in the 1980s.
The trailer just dropped today and we've included the top five moments that left our jaws on the floor.
1. The Drama Mama
Not only are are Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey playing two men that fall in love during a very hostile time for LGBTQ+ people, but Bomer's character is married to a woman and also a political public figure. Naturally, all of this will bring plenty of drama throughout the episodes.
2. The Sexual Revolution
The sexual revolution took place in the 1960s and 1970s. It challenged the way relationships and sexualities were vieweed, which helped LGBTQ+ rights become so important today.
3. The Passion
Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey are both gay men in real life, so these two are bringing plenty of on-screen chemistry to this series. We wonder if an Intimacy Coordinator was even needed for these two.
4. The Tension
With Bomer's character a public figure, these two are constantly being watched. How will they keep their relationship from the public eye and avoid any collateral damage from their affair?
5. The History
Even though LGBTQ+ are still fighting for equality to this day, it's important to remember how we got here today.
Fellow Travelers will also serve as a history lesson by documenting some of the most tense moments for the world and the LGBTQ+ community in the late 20th century.
We can't wait to watch!
