The new season of American Horror Story is all about the horrors of pregnancy.

American Horror Story is back with the 12 season of the hit anthology series and the first trailer, released today, has us obsessed with the Rosemary’s Baby vibes.

AHS: Delicate stars series veteran Emma Roberts and newcomer Kim Kardashian in a dramatic role. Cara Delevingne, Gilmore Girls hunk Matt Czuchry and Pose star Michaela Jaé Rodriguez are also joining the cast for the first time, alongside returning cast members Billie Lourd, Denis O’Hare, and Leslie Grossman.

Created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, past seasons of the spooky series have dealt with haunted houses, creepy asylums, a coven of witches, a traveling freak show, the apocalypse, vampires and even aliens. But this time the horror centers around a pregnancy.

Maternal horror has been in the zeitgeist lately, with movies like Huesera: The Bone Woman, Birth/Rebirth, and Baby Ruby all dealing with the horrors of pregnancy and motherhood. In part one of AHS: Delicate, actress Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts) desperately wants a family, but has had multiple failed attempts at IVF. As the buzz around her recent film grows, she becomes convinced something is targeting her and her attempts at motherhood.

Much like AHS season 10, the new season has been split into two parts, with the first part premiering on Sept. 20. The show will stream on Hulu the day after it airs on FX.

The intense trailer which begins with an unsettling rendition of “Rock-a-bye Baby” is giving us Rosemary’s Baby and even Dead Ringer vibes, and it ends with a shot of Roberts with her mouth fused together in a way reminiscent of famed anthology series The Twilight Zone.

We can’t wait to see what scares this season has in store—whatever it is we're sure it'll get under our skin!
