After attending the Met Gala with Diddy, Florida-based rapper Miami went on Revolt’s The Jason Lee Show and admitted to having the hots for the “WAP” singer.
While on the latest episode of the talk show, she played a game of Smash or Pass with Lee. When an image of Stallion came on screen the City Girls rapper wasted no time saying, “Imma smash all day and tomorrow. Megan just give me, like… she really can, like, take me up and throw [me] down.”
Her conversation with the talk show host continued and she opened up about her bisexuality. “Sexually, I have been with a woman before,” she said candidly. “I love it.”
When Lee asked if she was bisexual, she admitted, “Yeah, I always say that, I really do like girls, [but] I won’t be in a relationship with a girl.”
This isn’t the first time the pair have admitted to an attraction. In 2021 Stallion tweeted, “I was too shy to tell her in person but @YungMiami305 I wanna date.” Miami responded with, “I been wanted you too, so what’s up?”
Not everyone bought into the flirtation though, with some fans accusing the long-time friends of queerbaiting and performative bisexuality.
This is also not the first time talking about sexuality has brought attention to Miami. In 2013 she was criticized for making homophobic remarks on twitter. In a since deleted tweet, the rapper said that if she ever found out her son was gay she would “beat that boy so baddd.”
Then in an interview with The Breakfast Club in 2018 she doubled down on the remark saying “I have absolutely nothing against gay people, but I wouldn’t want my son to be gay.”
Hopefully being open about her own queer identity will make her rethink these remarks.
