Music fans are getting fed this week with so many exciting new releases from LGBTQ+ artists and allies – from popstars to drag performers to bands to actors-turned-musicians.
Despite having released her latest album Girl of My Dreams in September, Fletcher is now readying a deluxe edition of the album and is leading that effort with the brand-new single titled “Suckerpunch.” Also preparing for a new studio album is the band Brockhampton, which dropped a song called “New P*ssy” this week. Furthermore, Beauty and the Beast actor Luke Evans has just released his second studio album, A Song for You, with tracks featuring Nicole Kidman and Charlotte Church.
This is also a big week in music for drag artists. (Purse) first and foremost, Bob the Drag Queen dropped the instant classic “Black” song and music video featuring Ocean Kelly and Basit. In turn, Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme released the sweet holiday anthem “Looking at the Lights” from their joint tour. There’s also a new bop from RuPaul, “Star Baby,” which is the lead single from her recently-announced album Black Butta.
As if all of those releases weren’t enough, Years & Years dropped an incredibly exciting cover of Crystal Waters’ “100% Pure Love” and the icon Lindsay Lohan released her legendary cover of the Christmas classic “Jingle Bell Rock.”
Scroll through to listen to the latest music releases from LGBTQ+ artists and allies throughout this week.
