Oh my gay gawd.

Fresh off the huge success of “Padam Padam,” Kylie Minogue was interviewed by the New York City radio station 103.5 KTU and dropped a major revelation that we’re still trying to process.

When asked if she’d be interested in collaborating with Madonna, Minogue didn’t mince any words. “Of course I would!” the singer exclaimed. “She’s going on tour. I don’t have Madonna’s number, but if I was in town and she was in town, it would be amazing. The building would probably fall down. We’d need to send out warnings!”

Indeed, diva. The building would probably fall. And it would be so worth it.

Minogue also revealed that, as a teenager, she used to “dance around her bedroom” listening to Madonna. Later in the interview, the Australian popstar talked about wanting to tour across the United States.

“Padam Padam” is only the first single from Minogue’s upcoming album, Tension, which is set for a release on September 22. Given that this is her 16th studio album, it is truly a testament to the longevity of her career that “Padam Padam” became such a global sensation in 2023.

With Madonna collaborating with Sam Smith recently, who knows? Maybe a song with Minogue is much more possible than one might think.

We will certainly keep our eyes peeled for new updates regarding this potential collab.
