The new music video for alt-pop singer Karin Ann is super queer and we love every minute of it!

Hunky Olympic medalist Gus Kenworthy is putting down the skies to star in the new music video for queer alt-pop singer Karin Ann’s song “A Stranger With My Face” which dropped this morning.

The gay freestyle skier is no stranger to acting in front of a camera, not only is he a YouTuber, but he was in an episode of Will & Grace, starred in American Horror Story: 1984 and was in the film 80 for Brady.

The high-concept music video for the slow and dreamy song, is full of old Hollywood glamor and the intrigue of a classic film noir. Oh and it’s also gay. Like really gay!

Karin Ann plays Lune, a secretary at a shady movie studio who is given her big break in the form of an undercover assignment. Kentworthy plays her underhanded boss Lenny who slaps a newspaper down on her desk with a gossipy headline about movie star Solana (Ashley Moore).

“We can’t have folks thinking America’s sweetheart is more rebellious than a greased up biker,” Kenworthy says in a faux Mid-Atlantic accent—think Gary Grant in North by Northwest or His Girl Friday.

He wants Lune to pretend to be Solana’s assisstant so she can get proof of the starlet’s “salacious activity” and if she’s successful she’ll get out of the secretarial pool and land a job as a screenwriter.

Lune takes the job and quickly forms a friendship with Solana who it seems like she may be falling for. But she’s faced with a dilemma when Solana invites her to a gay bar, giving our undercover agent the perfect opportunity to gather evidence. We see Lune snap a photo of Solana kissing another woman right before the video ends with the words “to be continued” across the screen.

Will Lune turn the photos in to her slimy boss or will she destroy them and confess her love for Solana? Luckily the story doesn’t end there because the music video for “A Stranger With My Face” is only the first part of a short film from filmmaking duo TUSK, who have made videos for Brandy, Alessia Cara, and Tate McRae.

We can't wait for the short film to come out because we are dying to know how the story ends. Hopefully with more Gus Kenworthy on our screens!
