We can’t wait for Revamped to drop on all streaming platforms.

Today nonbinary pop star Demi Lovato announced they are getting ready to release a new album full of rock reimaginings of some of their most iconic pop songs!

The Grammy winner came up with the idea while on tour with their punk-leaning album “Holy Fvck.” In an attempt to seamlessly blend their pop chart toppers into the set list, Lovato and their band reworked the songs into rock hits.

“The fans loved it,” the 30-year-old singer told Rolling Stone. “When I got home from tour, I was like, ‘Why don’t I just record those versions and release them?’”

The new rock reimaginings were so successful the “Stone Cold” singer decided to release the new songs on a 10-track album titled Revamped, which will feature rock-versions of some of their biggest hits.

“I love revisiting these past moments in my career,” they told the outlet. “We’ve done a great job of reenvisioning the songs, and I’m really happy with them.”

Not only is Lovato announcing their upcoming album today, but they are also releasing “Sorry Not Sorry (Rock Version)” which features none other than Slash, who recorded their guitar solo for the track while on tour with Guns N Roses.

“When we were thinking about who would sound fucking rad on this song, there’s only one person that came to mind, and that was Slash,” the pop star said.

Lovato hasn’t released the upcoming album’s full tracklist yet so we don’t know all of the songs they’re revamping, but there are plans to include previously-released rock reimaginings of “Cool for the Summer” and “Heart Attack” and new versions of “Tell Me You Love Me” and “Give Your Heart a Break.”

When reworking the music Lovato tried to give existing tracks a harder edge, without losing their “familiarity.” “I changed the melody a little bit in certain spots and then try to hit higher notes than the originals,” they said.

They kept all of the lyrics on Revamped intact except for one line of “Tell Me You Love Me.” Before the chorus lyric, “No, you ain’t nobody ‘till you got somebody,” Lovato now sings, “They say.”

“I interject a little because I don’t want that negative connotation of ‘You’re only somebody if you’re with somebody’ and that’s something that’s always bugged me about the song as I’ve performed it on the road,” they said.

The singer explained that they are still in the “really early stage” of creating the new album and are still unsure of what it will sound like in the end. “Will it go into a [darker] direction? Or will it go more pop-rock?” they said. “That’s what I’m playing with right now.”

Lovato’s new album will drop on September 15, and we can’t wait!
