The digital release of Wicked is nigh, but it's the abundance of deleted scenes and special features that has fans rejoicifying in anticipation.

There are a whopping three hours of bonus content to look forward to if you snag a digital copy of Wicked starting December 31, according to Variety. This will include behind-the-scenes featurettes, interviews with the cast and filmmakers, commentary, and 10 deleted and extended scenes.

And for those who are too impatient to wait for the end of the month, some of the scenes have already made their way online. Today revealed extended moments from Galinda (Ariana Grande) attempting to teach Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) how to toss her hair, while Entertainment Tonight dropped a deleted scene showing the two on the train ride to Emerald City.

It isn't completely clear yet whether we'll get the deleted bit previously teased by Bowen Yang, in which both Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey) and Boq (Ethan Slater) rip their shirts off. But we do know which scene director Jon M. Chu was most disappointed to lose.

"The promise scene that Elphaba and Glinda are in, where she says, 'I'll never leave you behind again,'" he revealed to CBR. "Their acting is so good. You get to see sides of Glinda and Elphaba that you don't get to see in the relationship in any other scene."

Chu explained that there were relevant narrative reasons for losing the scene, but Gelphie fans are ready to eat up each and every additional moment between the two of them.

For those who prefer physical media, the wait is going to be a little bit longer. Wicked: Part One will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD February 5.
