Our hype for this sweet & steamy rom-com just keeps getting higher!

The premiere of the highly anticipated, sweet, and steamy Red, White & Royal Blue is almost here and today Amazon dropped new clips to help raise the hype even more.

For those unfamiliar (or would just like a reminder) the film, which is based on the novel by Casey McQustion, follows Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), who is the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman), and Britain’s Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine) who seemingly have a lot in common. Both are absolutely gorgeous, both have undeniable charisma, both enjoy international popularity — and both absolutely can not stand one other. Otherwise, it's the perfect setup for a steamy rom-com. Considering their shared animosity it's a good thing that an ocean separates the two. As a result, their long-running feud has just simmered below the surface. That is until the two come face to face-to-face and end up in a disastrous—and very public—altercation at a royal event. Naturally, this quickly becomes tabloid fodder which in turn threatens to drive a wedge in the U.S./British relations, at the worst possible time, of course. The two are then forced back together as they go into damage-control mode when their families and handlers force the two rivals into a staged “truce.” Que the sparks! Soon Alex and Henry’s icy relationship begins to warm up first into a tentative friendship, and then that chemistry builds into something neither of them ever would have suspected. Swoon!

Yep, this is one we can’t wait to see. While the film doesn't arrive on Prime Video until Friday, you can enjoy a sneak peak right now, with these charming and hilarious clips.

In the first clip, Thurman’s presidential character breaks down the severity of the cake-related international incident — aka cakegate.

In this second clip, Alex and Henry attempt to put on a united front, for the press.

In the final clip, Alex and Henry get busted — and it's hilarious and adorable.
