Lillies Not For Me waswritten and directed by Will Seefried. Hannes Otto, Roelof Storm, Will Seefried, Naïma Abed, and Emilie Georges produced the film. The latter two worked as producers on the 2017 Oscar-nominated film Call Me By Your Name.
“The film confronts some dark parts of our history in order to shine a light on the incredible resilience that is the hallmark of our community," Seefriend tells PRIDE in a statement. "This was true a hundred years ago, when the film is set, and remains true today. Our superpower as queer people is in our ability to love, even when the world tells us not to.”
