There's a lot we're ready to leave behind in 2024, but also plenty to celebrate — especially for sapphics. Queer ladies dominated pop music this year, from Reneé Rapp taking over Coachella to Chappell Roan taking over...well, everything. But music wasn't the only place sapphic joy could be found this year. Let's take a stroll through memory lane and revisit some of the gayest moments we were #blessed with over the last twelve months.
Reneé Rapp bringing 'The L Word' cast to Coachella
There were a LOT of iconic Sapphic moments at Coachella this year. This isn't even the only one that revolved around Rapp. But it really doesn't get any gayer than being introduced by the fricking cast of The L Word.
Tracy Chapman at the Grammys
Tracy Chapman finally got her due after Luke Combs' cover of her 1988 lesbian anthem "Fast Car" topped the Billboard charts at the end of 2023.
