After five years, the 'Challengers' star will hit the Met Gala carpet, this time as a co-hair!

Come with us on journey through Zendaya's Met Gala looks!

Although we haven't seen her on the carpet in the last five years, every time Emmy-winning actress Zendaya (who is currently serving at the top of the box office in the hit film Challengers) has graced the annual Met Gala with her presence, she becomes a viral sensation.

Not only will Zendaya and Law Roach be at the gala this year to celebrate the Costume Institute's new exhibition, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," but Zendaya is also a co-chair. The pair are bound to break the internet with anything they choose, just like they have before, with this year's theme of the red carpet being "The Garden of Time."

To celebrate Z's sure-to-be epic Met Gala comeback, let's take a look back at the previous magic she and Roach have cooked up together on the steps of The Met!

Zendaya made her debut at the fashion event of the year in 2015 at just 18 years old. The theme of the year was "China: Through the Looking glass." Zendaya wore a show stopping Fausto Puglisi dress.

While discussing the look in an interview with Vogue, Zendaya said, "I'm very proud of the look.,First Met as a young 18-year-old girl. This felt very fitting for that moment."

The year is 2016, The Met Gala theme was "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology" and Zendaya partnered with Michael Kors for a robotic moment at the gala. While on the carpet together, the Designer said, "I think she kind of looks like a very glamorous android, we wanted her to be android robot realness."

In 2017, for the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between" theme, Zendaya took over the carpet in a massive and gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana gown, covered in bright colors and florals.

2018's "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" was one of the most viral Met Galas of all time. Zendaya topped multiple best dressed lists in her ICONIC Joan of Arc inspired look. Wearing a full metal Versace gown and a red bob, Zendaya spoke about this look calling it "one of my all time favorite Met looks."

"You know, Law had had this idea of doing a Joan of Arc inspired thing and we'd seen a lot of sketches, and ideas, and references. The day before, going there, putting it on, I was like, 'Wow.' It was so heavy 'cause of the beading, but it was so beautifully constructed, and it's Versace."

And finally, 2019. "Camp: Notes on Fashion." The last time we saw Zendaya on the Met steps. Both Zendaya and Law Roach were on the carpet to execute a magical moment. In their HIGHEST Disney fashion, Zendaya showed up in a Tommy Hilfiger gown that lit up with the wave of Law Roach's wand. In an interview with WhoWhatWear, Roach discussed what this look meant to the pair, saying, "That was like the final hoorah and paying homage to Disney, which gave her the start of her career."

It's been five very, very, VERY long years since Zendaya has been on the Met Gala red carpet. However this year not only will she be attending, she is a co-chair, so we can definitely expect Law and Zendaya to blow us away. We will be SAT!
