Gotta love Wilson Cruz!

Since his breakout role as Ricky Vasquez on My So-Called Life, Wilson Cruz has gone on to have an incredible career as an out gay actor in Hollywood.

Over the years, Cruz has appeared in films and TV shows such as Joyride, Party Monster, ER, The West Wing, Noah’s Arc, He’s Just Not That Into You, Grey’s Anatomy, Shameless, and 13 Reasons Why, just to name a few. With so many acting credits, Cruz has become one of the most popular and accomplished LGBTQ+ actors of our time.

In 2017, Cruz was attached to the main cast of Paramount+’s Star Trek: Discovery as the character of Hugh Culber. On the show, Hugh is a medical officer aboard Discovery who happens to be married to Paul Stamets (played by Anthony Rapp). Together, Hugh and Paul are the first out gay couple in the history of the Star Trek franchise.
