The new gay love interest on ’Ride’!

The Hallmark Channel recently launched a new LGBTQ+-inclusive TV series titled Ride. Actor Jake Foy plays the character of Tuff McMurray on the show, who happens to be an out gay man helping his family run their Colorado ranch.

Following Tuff’s introduction to the show, it quickly became apparent that he was accepted by both his family and community, which came as a very refreshing portrayal of a gay character on a TV show set in a ranch. Viewers have also been really connecting with Foy’s portrayal of the character.

In recent episodes, Tuff has started to bring along a new love interest: a local guy named Julian, who’s played by actor Vasilios Filippakis. Tuff and Julian have even shared their first on-screen kiss on the show, so things are progressing rather nicely.

Prior to Ride, Filippakis was best known for appearing on shows like Hudson & Rex, Smothered, and Fak Yaass.
