The pop star teases his new album with a super sexy selfie.

Troye Sivan took to Instagram this weekend to tease his new album in the most drool-worthy way ever.

The pop star posted a nearly-nude photo of himself in bed to get fans excited for his first album to be released since his acclaimed sophomore album Bloom came out in 2018. The photo shows Sivan naked from the neck down as he reaches toward the camera, showing a bit of hip and side cheek with the caption “I feel the rush,” in reference to his upcoming album.

The next day Sivan posted a teaser clip for the album, hinting that his next single will be titled “Rush.” In the caption the singer apologized to fans for taking five years to come out with a new album.

“Btw —- I didn’t mean to take 5 years to make this album - Bloom tour happened (lmk if you came!) then i started working on it, then cockbig19, then The Idol, always working on the album in all the moments between..and now here we are,” Sivan wrote. “10 years since i signed my record deal, 5 years since bloom. Enough excuses now. Enough saying ‘soon’ this is for YOU and it starts NOWWWW.”

Fans have known this was in the works since September of last year, but this was the first concrete information we’ve gotten about the new album.

It may have been five years since Bloom was released, but the budding gay icon has been keeping busy in the meantime. Sivan released the 2020 EP “In A Dream” and the standalone singles “Angel Baby,” “Trouble,” and “Wait.” He also collaborated with Mark Ronson and Kacey Musgraves for a remix of the song “Easy.” And most recently, the out gay star stretched his acting chops by playing Xander in the controversial new show The Idol for MAX.
