A former star of The Real L Word just revealed that she tied the knot last year — to Angelina Jolie's brother.
Romi Imbelli-Haven broke the news of her marriage to James Haven on Instagram earlier this week.
"In 2024, I married my best friend of 23 years," she wrote. "Our wedding day was intimate, just us and our parents while exchanging vows, with plans to have a larger celebration later."
According to Just Jared, the wedding actually took place back in August — the same month in which Imbelli-Haven initially announced their engagement. However, she admitted that the two had a fight and broke up the day after the wedding, and it would appear they also sought to have the marriage nullified. But now, the couple is on the path to reconciliation.
"After 5 months of much crying, healing, and reflection, we decided to work through our issues and are now planning a special day with my daughter," she said. "I feel liberated and ready to return to my husband and our home in LA."
Imbelli-Haven appeared in The Real L Word, Showtime's reality series following queer women in Los Angeles (and eventually New York), a little over a decade ago. Her time on the show ended with her marrying musician Dusty Ray, although the marriage didn't last very long.
"I would say that half of the divorce is because it wasn't working out and we weren't happy," she toldGoMag in 2013. "And the other half is because I want to go back to women."
She later married (and divorced) chef Charles Imbelli, with whom she has a daughter.
However, that isn't stopping Imbelli-Haven from giving marriage another go with Haven.
"We have spent 22 years learning how to navigate our relationship, and we are determined to keep going," she said. "No one is flawless, but we are all doing our best. When someone shows us unconditional love in this unpredictable world, we should accept it."
