TikTok superstars Nicky Champa and Pierre Boo are going their separate ways.
On Sunday, July 9, the couple officially announced that they are getting a divorce. “With social media, it’s a bit complicated. Our relationship became a brand,” Champa told Out in an exclusive statement. “I want to say I have nothing but love and respect for this person. I spent my entire 20s with this person. I grew up with this person. He’s a very special person and will always remain that way for me.”
Champa added, “It was almost like I felt trapped within an ideology of what we’ve become. I lost myself in this relationship, incredibly. I sacrificed a lot for this relationship. I dedicated myself to this relationship and the brand that we were building. I think that at this stage in my life, I had to choose me and pick me first. And I think [Boo] had to do the same, so that’s the direction we’re heading in.”
Boo shared an Instagram story that read, “We broke up.”

As of this writing, Boo (@itspierreboo) has 13.7 million followers on TikTok, whereas Champa (@nickychampa) has 13.3 million followers on the social network. On Instagram, Boo has 1.3 million followers and Champa has reached 1 million.
The couple started dating in 2017 and officially became boyfriends. In October 2022, Champa and Boo tied the knot at a secret wedding in Las Vegas that came to the surface in the media.
It can be very tough when a long-term couple makes the difficult decision to split. However, we certainly hope that this is the best outcome for these individuals and that they’re able to live happier and more prosperous lives going their separate ways.
