The "Wrecking Ball" singer said people definitely should have known she was bi!

Just about anyone who’s come out as LGBTQ+ can point to a variety of signs from their past that, in retrospect, should have given things away. Sometimes seriously, sometimes in jest, but we’ve pretty much all been there—even Miley Cyrus.

The singer has been “looking back on [her] life and sharing untold stories” in a TikTok series called “Used to be Young,” which is also the title of her latest song. There’s plenty there for fans of Cyrus to enjoy, but a 25 second-clip about a well-known photo has been a source of amusement over the past week.

The picture in question features Cyrus in the most casual comfy clothing alongside her far more dressed up famous friends on the night of the Hannah Montana: The Movie premiere.

“Me, and Emily [Osment], Taylor Swift, and Demi Lovato are going to The Cheesecake Factory,” she recalled. “These are some classy ladies.”

“If you guys didn’t know I was bisexual from this damn picture, I don’t know what’s wrong with you,” she continued. “What? I mean, hello? Look at them.”

Fans were loving Cyrus’s reflection on the pic, and expressed as much on social media.

And seeing as how Cyrus has been open about knowing she’s attracted to women since a young age, even if she didn’t come out publicly until 2015, some folks also pointed out that this is a good reminder that queer flagging is something people make the choice to do before they’re out to the world. Even celebrities.

But don’t worry, Miley—we definitely knew!
