"Luckily he ain’t been relevant since 2007,” Wayans wrote about the rapper.

After beefing on social media for days, actor Marlon Wayans may have just shut down Soulja Boy for good after the rapper made a series of homophobic and transphobic comments.

The feud came to a head on February 12 when Soulja Boy made anti-LGBTQ+ comments on X (formerly Twitter) referencing Wayans’ transgender son, Kai.

"Ain't yo son a t— that suck dick?” Soulja Boy wrote in a since-deleted tweet, Entertainment Weeklyreports. The “Crank That” rapper went on to post screenshots of articles about Wayans supporting his 24-year-old son that he captioned, “That f— shit run in the family, huh? @MarlonWayans, no wonder u like dressing up as a bitch — it's in ur blood.”

Wayans, who first shared his on Kai is transgender in 2023, slammed Soulja Boy by replying with a screenshot of the musician’s deleted post, writing, “You know you can get cancelled for transphobic slander like this… Fortunately for you that you don’t have a career. Apparently, You BEEN cancelled for the last 17 years. Crank that was 2007. We waiting.”

And in case anyone missed his response, Wayans also posted, "If @souljaboy had a career he could get cancelled for this type of slander. Luckily he ain’t been relevant since 2007.”

Wayans first opened up about his trans son back in 2023 during an appearance on The Breakfast Club podcast.

“I talk about the transition — not their transition, but my transition — as a parent going from ignorance and denial to complete, unconditional love and acceptance,” Wayans explained at the time. “And I think there’s a lot of parents out there that need to have that message. And I know I’m dealing with it. It was a very painful situation for me, but man, it’s one of the best, funniest hours I probably could ever imagine.”

This social media post came two days after Soulja Boy called Wayans a “b—“ and “not funny” on February 10.

On Thursday, Soulja Boy deleted all of his homophobic and transphobic X posts and wrote an apology. "I apologize for crashing out. I just be trying to defend myself," he wrote. "But sometimes I take it too far. Back to the music & TV shows. Love y’all."

In another post, he said he insulted Wayans after the actor had insulted him in an interview, but Soulja Boy has since deleted these posts as well, EW reports.

It’s unclear exactly what the rapper was referencing, but Wayans was critical of Soulja Boy for performing at President Donald Trump’s inauguration party.

The two men then had a back and forth on X where Soulja Boy told Wayans that he “sucked dick for ur movie roles,” and the actor accused the rapper of being a child molester.
