He’s breaking out of 'Élite'!

Viewers have a love/hate relationship with Manu Ríos’ character on Élite, Patrick, for some of the damage he’s caused in the relationship between fan-favorites Omar (played by Omar Ayuso) and Ander (played by Arón Piper). Alas, most Élite fans can’t resist the undeniable good looks and captivating charm that Ríos delivers even when playing a very complicated character.

Besides his work on Élite, Ríos landed a leading role in the 2022 limited series La edad de la ira, which was based on a novel of the same name by author Nando López. And this week, Ríos was also cast in a major role for Pedro Almodóvar’s upcoming film Strange Way of Life, which has been pitched as the director’s “answer to Brokeback Mountain.”

Ríos also stars alongside Hollywood heavy-hitters Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal, who have been cast as the leads in Almodóvar’s Strange Way of Life. This will be the Ríos’ biggest acting role to date, as he’ll get to work with such a legendary director and star opposite of two bonafide movie stars. And he's headed back to Netflix for the medical drama Respira.

While Élite fans eagerly await to see what Ríos will turn out on Almodóvar’s new movie, it’s the perfect time to look back at some of the actor’s sexiest moments both on and offscreen.
