Have Mae Martin and Parvati Shallow called it quits? A recent update isn’t leaving fans hopeful for the state of this particular love story.

Shallow recently spoke with People about her experiences dating following her 2021 divorce from fellow former Survivor contestant, John Fincher.

"It’s been really tricky," she said. "I feel like I can succeed everywhere else, but dating is always throwing little wrenches in my plans."

The reality TV star began dating Martin in March 2023. They went public with their relationship at the end of the year, and refuted rumors that they had broken up in summer 2024.

But fans have wondered whether something may have shifted in recent months, and Shallow seemed to confirm as much when she referred to their relationship as "an in flux situation."

"I’ve been through trying to fit myself into the structures of society and the definitions of dating and the definitions of relationships, and I’m like, do I want to do that? Or do I want to just take a big ball of clay and make it into what I want?" she told People. "I’m traveling so much and having these really fun, amazing adventures, so I’m in this place of asking myself, what do I really want?"

Both Martin and Shallow have kept busy when it comes to their respective careers. Martin recently announced the upcoming release of an "earnest music album" titled I’m A TV, while Shallow has a memoir, Nice Girls Don’t Win, scheduled for publication in July.
