Lily-Rose Depp has a girlfriend!
The actor confirmed her romance with rapper 070 Shake, whose real name is Danielle Balbuena, on her Instagram stories last week.
“4 MONTHS W MY CRUSH,” wrote Depp in the caption of the photo of the two of them kissing, which she shared via her Instagram Stories.
The following day, Balbuena posted a photo of the two passionately kissing on her IG stories.
These PDA-packed social media posts end the speculation that the two were dating (for a few months, apparently). They began posting on social media together during Paris fashion week in February.

In the past, Depp seemingly came out as sexually fluid only to then walk that back. In 2015, the actor participated in a photo shoot for Self-Evident Truths, a photo project that is documenting people who fall under the LGBTQI spectrum. Their website says that they are “documenting 100,000 people in the U.S. who identify as anything other than 100% straight.”
In the caption of her photo, Depp explained she wanted to be involved with the project because “she falls somewhere on the vast spectrum.”
However, in an interview with Nylon in 2016, she explained it wasn’t her big coming out moment after all. “A lot of people took it as me coming out, but that’s not what I was trying to do. I was literally doing it just to say that you don’t have to label your sexuality; so many kids these days are not labeling their sexuality and I think that’s so cool,” she told the publication.
Well, wherever Depp is on the “vast spectrum”, we’re rooting for her new romance with Balbuena.
It appears so! She has been reportedly dating rapper 070 since February 2023.
