Lil Nas X answered some fan questions on Instagram stories over the weekend, covering topics from his upcoming music to what type of men he’s into.

First, let’s get the unfortunate news out of the way. The “Industry Baby” singer confirmed that a song he previously teased, “Trip to London,” is unlikely to ever get an official full release.

He also claimed that “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” is his least favorite song out of the ones that have been released, but knowing Lil Nas, it’s hard to know whether to take that seriously or write it off as a joke.

“It was like, the most real and the most even vulnerable at times I’ve ever been on a song, honestly,” he previously said of the song. “It’s going to be super important for me, and for a lot of other people. It felt really great.”

The next album Lil Nas plans to release apparently includes his favorite song he’s written, though, and said he has “a lot” of plans for whatever mystery song he intends to release next.

The rapper also addressed his decision to no longer post snippets of music that he was actively working on, which he used to do with some regularity.

“it takes me out of my flow of creating without outside opinion,” he admitted.

Things took a slight detour when one zealous fan inquired as to what type of guy Lil Nas is attracted to, but anyone hoping for a clue as to how to win him over isn’t likely to glean any useful information from his response.

“i like losers,” he wrote.
