Despite rumors that his wife is having an affair with country music singer Morgan Wade, Mauricio Umanksy is loving the pair’s sexy music video.
After Wade released her new music video for her song “Fall in Love With Me” featuring his estranged wife Kyle Richards, Umansky took to Instagram to show his support.
The 53-year-old commented three fire emojis followed by the words “So good” on the joint social media posts Wade and Richards made to promote the music video where the two women appear in steamy scenes together.
This positive response comes on the heels of more than a month of rumors that the women are having a lesbian love affair after news spread of Umansky and Richards' alleged divorce. While the couple has yet to publicly say they are seeking a divorce, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that they had “been separated of awhile” but are still living together amicably while they “figure out the next steps.”
In the video, Richards is seen in ‘80s workout gear doing squats and the splits as Wade watches from afar. Later the duo are seen taking a bubble bath together and feeding each other fruit and whipped cream while donning lingerie.
In another sexy scene, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is wearing a bathing suit as she waters her garden while watching Wade wash her car. Wade then strips off her T-shirt to reveal a bikini top as she walks up to Richards and almost kisses her.
Despite Umanksy’s warm reception and many people seeing this as a tongue-in-cheek way of responding to all the headlines about the women’s alleged affair, some people on social media also claimed the video was nothing more than a queerbaiting stunt.
“I almost hope they are having an affair, otherwise it's straight-up queerbaiting, no?,” a user on Reddit wrote.
In an August 4 promo video Wade referenced the controversy, saying, “You see people being obsessed with us being friends and why we’re friends. Internet’s going to be popping off about this, I’m sure.”
Richards then added, “If they’re gonna talk, you might as well give them something to talk about.”
