Earlier this week, Netflix announced that season three of Heartstopper has officially entered production, which means that the cast is once again reunited for filming. Most of the main stars of the show are reprising their roles from seasons one and two, such as Kit Connor (Nick), Joe Locke (Charlie), Yasmin Finney (Elle), William Gao (Tao), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy), Corinna Brown (Tara), and Tobie Donovan (Isaac).

In turn, Sebastian Croft (Ben) is not returning to the third season. “Particularly as the aftershocks of Ben’s manipulation are still causing Charlie pain, Ben can become a better person, but Charlie should not have to witness that, endorse it, or offer any forgiveness. And so he won’t,” Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman wrote on Netflix’s Tudum blog.

As filming for season three of Heartstopper gets started, fans are already losing their minds over leaked pictures and videos of the cast filming a beach scene. Connor will apparently be shirtless for a good portion of these scenes, as the out bisexual actor was captured without wearing a shirt in numerous social media posts that are now taking over the internet. As expected, the girls, gays, and theys are feeling rather thirsty!
