Kid Rock at a concert for Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan’s birthday.

Is that a snowflake or Kid Rock?

Singer, rapper, and MAGA supporter Kid Rock stormed off stage during a performance over the weekend when the audience didn’t clap enough for his liking.

On Saturday night, the musician was at Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar to celebrate Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan’s birthday when his special guest performance took a left turn.

Kid Rock took to the stage to sing Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary” — which reached new heights when Tina Turner covered it — alongside Bryan on keyboard but stopped partway through and walked off after snapping at the audience.

In a now-viral video, Kid Rock can be seen trying to get the audience to clap along with him, but when not enough people follow his lead, he stops singing to address it.

“F—k them. F—k them. Hey, hey, stop. If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna go," Kid Rock said.

The 54-year-old Trump supporter clapped his hands over his head to demonstrate to the audience how he wanted them to join in. After resuming his performance, some people in the crowd started clapping, but Kid Rock stopped singing again and said, "You know what, f—k y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone” before storming off stage.

People on social media took pleasure in roasting the conservative singer for having such thin skin. “Kid Rock spent years calling everyone else soft, then threw a fit because his Walmart parking lot fanbase didn’t clap loud enough,” frequent Donald Trump critic Alex Cole wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while other people called him “a MAGA whiny-ass bitch” and “a low class wedding band act.”

Bryan looks as confused as the audience with Kid Rock’s quick exit. After he left the stage, the rest of the band continued with the show without the “All Summer Long” singer.

Kid Rock being slammed on the internet for his actions is nothing new; he’s been embroiled in controversy since the early 2000s for his use of the Confederate flag, slinging homophobic slurs, shooting bud light cans, and being a vocal Trump supporter.
