Another romance bites the dust.

Romance is dead, well at least for JoJo Siwa and Avery Cyrus, who’ve announced that they’ve broken up.

Cyrus shared the news of their split in a TikTok video including footage of them on a Royal Caribbean cruise. In the video, Siwa shows off an arcade game prize, telling Cyrus, “This is my ‘Sorry for Breaking Up With You’ present.”

Naturally, fans wanted to know why the two had decided to end the relationship just weeks after celebrating their one-month anniversary in early November.

“We decided that we are better off as friends! We are both so young and still just trying to figure our stuff out!” Siwa said in a comment on her Instagram stories, explaining what happened.

It appears feelings aren’t too hard, at least on Siwa’s side, who shared that the cruise was their, "Best trip EVER.”

While Avery didn’t outright address the breakup, she has been hinting that perhaps their relationship had ended. In a December 16 Tiktok, she commented that she was in her “healing era” as well as posted another video in which she said, cryptically, “Karma is my boyfriend and I’m okay with that

The two first became official while on a Disney World trip in October, when Avery presented her with a “JoJo Be My GF?” spray-painted sign, while the two were on a sunset boat ride.

The relationship began in the happiest place on earth, and it sure seems like it’s ending in a pretty OK place as well.
