The fan favorites announced their break up on Instagram, calling the last year "crazy."

Reality tv stars Ollie King and Dan Harry Glendinning have announced they’re calling it quits after first finding love together on I Kissed a Boy.

The two met on the first season of the British reality dating show earlier this year and quickly became fan faves—we’ll never forget that steamy shower they shared! The pair fell for each other over the course of the season and after a final kiss during the last episode of the BBC Three show they agreed to continue dating in the real world, resulting in them being crowned the winners.

Despite this sweet beginning, King announced on his Instagram Story last week that the couple has split up. "Folks, it feels weird to be making a 'public' announcement about something so personal but since many of you have been on the journey and supported us since day one, I want to let you know that Dan and I aren't together anymore," he said.

"We are still mates and there's no bad blood, we'll still be hanging out etc.,” King continued. “We both want to make forward and will massively appreciate you respecting that this is a vulnerable thing for us to share.”

He then concluded by thanking the couple’s fans, "Thank you for supporting us so much through this crazy last year.”

The breakup comes three months after the conclusion of I Kissed a Boy, which ended with a reunion special where King and Glendinning were the last couple left standing. Ross and Ceejay, Gareth and Subomi, Jake and Kailum all announced they had broken up.

Glendinning has yet to speak publicly about the breakup, but he has made headlines recently for taking part in an HIV vaccine trial. “I am doing something super important: taking part in a HIV vaccine trial which will hopefully play a part in getting rid of HIV in the world,” he told PinkNews.
