Harry Styles has now added another layer to his multihyphenate status: merman.

In the last two years, Styles’ acting career has skyrocketed with high-profile projects such as his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Eros / Starfox during 2021’s Eternals, as well as his leading roles in films such as Don’t Worry Darling and My Policeman.

The actor and pop star released his latest album, Harry’s House, in May 2022. The project was incredibly successful with its lead single, “As It Was,” which spent as many as 15 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He then released “Late Night Talking” as the album’s second single.

Now, Styles picked “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” as the third single of Harry’s House and dropped a music video to go along with it. In it, Styles is in full character as a merman who ends up at a sushi restaurant and fears for his life as he sees cooks slicing up fish and preparing fish-based dishes to serve the guests. In the meantime, he keeps singing the song in what appears to be a hallucinogenic dreamland.
