Elliot Page is simply the best!
In a world where gender-affirming care is becoming more limited due to anti-trans bills pushed by conservative forces, Page is providing visibility and serving as a beacon of light and hope for trans people who are still looking forward to getting gender-affirming care.
“Dysphoria used to be especially rife in the summer,” Page wrote in an Instagram post along with a shirtless picture. “No layers, just a T-shirt – or layers and oh so sweaty – constantly looking down, readjusting my oversized T.”
He continued, “It feels so f*cking good soaking in the sun now, I never thought I could experience this, the joy I feel in my body. I am so grateful for what gender-affirming care has allowed me and I look forward to sharing more of my journey soon. #transjoy”
The Umbrella Academy actor and Pageboy author is currently working as an executive producer on the upcoming cheerleading film Backspot, which stars Devery Jacobs, Kudakwashe Rutendo, and Evan Rachel Wood. The film is also being made under his relatively new production company, Page Boy Productions, which was founded in 2021.
As an actor, Page has done some voice acting for the upcoming ARK: The Animated Series and is attached to a project titled Naya Legend of the Golden Dolphin.
It’s always a great day when Page updates the world on his personal journey, professional accomplishments, and absolute trans joy!
