This year, Netflix will release the fourth and final season of Mindy Kaling’s queer-inclusive coming-of-age comedy series Never Have I Ever.

With Lee Rodriguez playing the queer character of Fabiola, this hit Netflix show also includes Maitreyi Ramakrishnan in the lead role of Devi. In 2022, Ramakrishnan came out as sexually fluid, claiming that she’s open to dating boys, girls, and anyone in between.

The cast of Never Have I Ever also features Ramona Young (Eleanor), Jaren Lewison (Ben), and Darren Barnet (Paxton). For a while, the show pinned Paxton as Devi’s ultimate high-school crush. However, season three starts making it clear that perhaps her heart is actually set on Ben – even though she struggles to see that for herself and reach that conclusion.

Nonetheless, Paxton is by all means the ultimate heartthrob of Never Have I Ever. Though he plays a high-schooler on the show, Barnet is a 31-year-old actor who’s appeared on TV shows like This Is Us, Criminal Minds, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Barnet is also set to star in 2023’s Gran Turismo film and in the upcoming Road House movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Lukas Gage.
