The world was introduced to Colton Underwood in the 14th season of The Bachelorette, which was led by Becca Kufrin. On the show, Underwood made it all the way to the final four alongside Garrett Yrigoyen, Blake Horstmann, and Jason Tartick.

Almost a year later, Underwood was announced as the leading man on The Bachelor season 23 – an incredibly dramatic season that involved frontrunner Cassie Randolph quitting the show, being brought back, and eventually getting chosen as the winner. Unfortunately, Underwood and Randolph had a very tumultuous relationship after the show.

In 2021, Underwood came out as a gay man and announced that he was starring in a new Netflix series, Coming Out Colton, about how he experienced coming to terms with being LGBTQ+. He then competed on the CBS reality competition Beyond the Edge, in which he finished in first place.

Underwood got married to Jordan C. Brown in 2023. They reportedly started dating in 2021 – around the time when Underwood came out as gay to the public – and got engaged a year later.
