Last night’s People’s Choice Awards was a big one for Selling Sunset star Chrishell Strause. Not only was her series nominated For Best Reality TV Show, but she was also personally nominated for Best Reality TV Star. But there was one person who wasn’t able to cheer her on from the crowd: Stause’s partner, musician G Flip.

According to Stause, that’s because G Flip wasn’t allowed to be her plus one. “I am on the sauce a bit so I will prob regret this later. BUT people’s choice didn’t allow me to bring my partner to the awards. I could ONLY bring a plus 1 if it was a cast member. Wtf,” Stause tweeted after the ceremony. “Sure this means I will never be nominated again but honestly fu.”

“EVERY single cast member invited and some had plus ones, she continued. “I was nominated for best realty star and yet they said NO. Again fu. … I didn’t know till I got there that everyone was invited. So wtf was the issue?!” Stause asked.

Ultimately, it wasn’t an issue as G Flip ended up being out of the country, but that was beside the point as the couple initially fought hard to have G Flip in attendance alongside Stause.

“Up until a few days ago I was fighting to get them in and only to see everyone invited. Gtfoh,” wrote Stause. “If you are going to invite the whole cast of #sellingsunset @peopleschoice awards then why did my plus one HAVE to be a cast member or other wise told I do not get a plus one..?? If no other cast invited then that would make sense but…”

Stause concluded by admitting this is hardly the end of the world. “I get it- there are WAY bigger issues” in the world than her awards show dilemma, she said, but still felt unhappy with what allegedly went down. “These are the things people normally don’t say out loud unless they have multiple correspondence receipts and have had one too many tequilas and dgaf,” she wrote.

Stause and G Flip first went public with their romance in May at the Selling Sunset reunion. They first met when Stause starred in G Flip’s “Get Me Outta Here” music video.
