We’re only halfway through the rollercoaster that is 2023 and already our fav LGBTQ+ celebrity couples are dropping like flies!
While we thought many of these queer couples were happy as can be, looks can be deceiving and these celebs have all called it quits. So here are 6 celebrity breakups that are breaking our hearts.

TikTok stars Nicky Champa and Pierre Boo decided to go their separate ways just days shy of their first wedding anniversary. The influencers were married in August 2022, but had been together since 2017.
"With social media, it's a bit complicated. Our relationship became a brand," Champa told Out on July 9 in an exclusive statement. "The social media aspect of it and people constantly comparing ourselves to each other and the pressure of maintaining this image. It almost became, I would tell people, like a Black Mirror episode."

Trans actress Hunter Schafer and her Euphoria co-star Dominic Fike sparked an off-screen romance and became Instagram official last year, but the two have since split up. In the past Fike has also been caught on camera kissing Gossip Girl star Evan Mock and Schafer has described herself as "like bi or pan or something.”

Billy Porter, the award-winning Pose actor and fashion trailblazer, and his husband Adam Smith are calling it quits after six years of marriage. The pair released a statement announcing their separation, but neither has spoken about what caused the split. The couple met in 2009 and dated for many years before getting engaged in December 2017 and getting married just two weeks later.

Ricard Foye, famous for competing on season 41 of Survivor, announced his split from husband Andy Grier Foye in April of this year. The couple has been together for 6 years and share two children: daughter Aurelia, 4, and son Lucia, 2. Foye announced their divorce on Twitter, writing, "Telling my kids that baba & daddy are separating will always hurt.” The 33-year-old reality star continued, "We had a great run. So much love, two beautiful babies & two angel babies," Ricard continued. "You're my best friend."

Grammy Award winner Ricky Martin and his husband Jwan Yosef, who wed in 2018, announced in a joint Instagram post that they are ending their marriage after six years: “For some time, we have considered transforming our relationship and it is after careful consideration that we have decided to end our marriage with love, respect, and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years.”
Martin is the father of twin teenage boys and the couple also share two children: Lucia, 4, and Renn, 3. They have said that even with the divorce their children are still their priority.

Bisexual queen Ariana Madix split from her long-time boyfriend Tom Sandoval after he was caught cheating on her with a fellow cast mate from the reality show they both are on. The whole ordeal — dubbed “Scandoval” by fans — became nation-wide news and was caught on film during the tenth season of Vanderpump Rules. Since then Madox moved on from the scandal and even met a new beau.

These lesbian social media influencers built their brand around their relationship, but announced their plans to get a divorce a month ago. The pair made it big on Youtube, TikTok and OnlyFans making content about their relationship and what it’s like being gay. But even though they projected a happy image of their marriage there were clearly problems brewing behind the scenes.

Chloe Veicht and Shanye Jensen both gained their celebrity status by appearing on a slew of Netflix reality shows. The two met and started dating when they were both contestants on the Netflix dating reality show The Perfect Match. But their love didn’t last and the couple split up toward the beginning of the year. Since then Veicht has come out as bisexual. While promoting her stint on the reality show The Celebrity Detox she told the Sun, “At the end of the day, if I’m happy, that’s all that matters,” Veitch said in the interview. “I’m itching to go out there and date both guys and girls. It’s really exciting.”
