Britney Spears was spotted out having a great time with fellow artists J Balvin and Maluma in New York City, leaving fans thrilled at how happy she appears to be these days.

An anonymous source told Page Six that Balvin and Maulma “flagged her down” at Zero Bond, an exclusive club in Manhattan, “and she and her group joined them” for a sushi dinner.

“Everyone was in good spirits,” they said. “Britney was all smiles and so happy to be back in New York for the first time in a while.”

A photo shared by Maluma seems to reflect as much, showing him sitting next to the “Gimme More” singer as she hugged on a smiling Balvin.

Fans were pleased to see it, and expressed hope that this is proof Spears is doing well now that she’s out from under the thumb of her lengthy conservatorship.

This is a big month for Spears, with the release of her long-awaited memoir, The Woman in Me, just weeks away.

TMZ recently reported that she will partially narrate the audiobook version, with portions discussing her family being taken over by a yet-to-be-revealed mystery celeb, as Brit decided the topic of family was too painful for her to cover.

As an extra gift to longtime fans, the memoir’s publication will be celebrated with a limited theatrical engagement of the 2002 film Crossroads in select cities. The movie, which stars Spears, Zoe Saldana, Taryn Manning, and Anson Mount, was written by Shonda Rhimes before she became the TV powerhouse she is today, has become a cult favorite among millennials over the years.

The Woman in Me will hit bookshelves October 24.
